In the early morning of this important historical event, the two contemporary satanic schools of thought, namely eastern communism and western liberal-democracy, raised completely against it. One of the main slogans of the revolution at that time was "Not east, not west, but Islamic republic".[1] The plan of the revolution was to create a sample Islamic system beside the two mentioned systems to save human beings from cruelty, corruption and ignorance.

Though there was a deep challenge between the two satanic schools of thought, it was not ideologically, but rather it was a military and economically challenge. Communism in the past Soviet Union, however, after 70 years was collapsed because of the lack of its competence and its incompatibility with the nature of the human being and human societies.

After the collapse of the communism, liberal-democracy of the western countries found the ball in its land and thought that it can administer the whole globe without any opponent. But little by little it came to know that Islam as a progressive school of thought and as a way of life has attracted attention of many people all over the world even in its home.

The feature of the liberal-democracy was made up for many years by slogans such as freedom, human rights, respect to laws, civilised society etc. And although its double standard approaches regarding issues in the western countries and in the others was not furtive, they were trying to keep its feature as the best model and philosophy for the life of all nations. But after the event of 11/9 and the Bush administration’s declaration of war against terrorism, the nice made-up-feature of the liberal-democracy was removed and its real feature was exposed.

Achievements of the Liberal-Democracy

Here, needless to mention what has happened in Abu-Ghoraib prisons in Iraq and Guantanamo, or what is happening every day in Palestine and elsewhere in front of the eyes of the followers of the democracy. And also needless to mention barbaric deeds of the exporters of democracy into Iraq namely purchase of the organs of Iraqi wounded of war etc. because western democracy has never observed the war convention laws in its war against the nations. This is why the USA used its atomic bomb in Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan and also used abnormal armaments in both Afghanistan and Iraq recently. In Iraqi imposed war on Iran also, Saddam Husain received chemical weapons from the western countries.

But, however, this is important to mention here that the achievements of the liberal-democracy for the human beings have never been anything but cruelty, corruption, war, debauch and lechery. Nowadays human beings live in a crucial situation full of fear, fray, immorality and terrorism.

Today, the USA can not deny the regrettable achievements of the export-by-war of its so-called democracy in Afghanistan and Iraq. World is watching the spread of opium all over the Afghanistan territory and the blood shed and the daily terroristical actions in Iraq. All these show that America is only seeking its interest and do not pay attention to the rights or interests of these nations. Nobody knows that beside so many blood shed, caused by killing of innocent and poor Iraqi people including children, old men and women, how many barrels of Iraqi oil or its dollars have been ramped to the USA during the occupation of the land?.

The problem, however, is that the exporters of the liberal-democracy are totally absolutists. They are of the opinion that they themselves are only right and correct. They believe that all other people and nations of the whole world, who are not agreed with them, are wrong and ignorant, and they must follow them.

Today we are watching the regrettable situation of the western countries, the base and foothold of the liberal-democracy, where the foundation of the family life is endangered, homosexuality is spreading, and the statistics of killing, crimes, thievery etc. are increasing every day.

Furthermore they are not honest and sincere in their behaviours and dealing with the other nations. They always lie and deceive them. Here I would like to focus on some examples. When Salman Rushdi wrote his blasphemous book against Islam and Muslims, the west completely supported him under the title of “freedom of expression” and according to Christopher Hadson, England paid for his security 10 million pounds during ten years changing his residence 30 times![2] But when French writer Roger Garaudy compiled his book in which he doubted if the Jews holocaust by the Nazis during the World War II was true, he was sentenced by a court in Paris to a cash penalty of 160,000.00 Frank and nine month suspended imprisonment![3] It is interesting that after the verdict was issued he said: “The doors of media are closed to me”.

As a new issue in the USA, I would like to remember you the film that was made by Michel Moor and which was band because its content was not compatible with the Bush administration.

And the latest issue is banning of the Al-Menar channel firstly in France and then in the USA. Is not all this paradoxical with the so called slogan of “freedom of expression”?   

About the western version of “human rights” nobody, nowadays, has any doubt that it is a stick against the nations and governments that are not agree with their policy because everybody is watching double standards approaches of them in connection with the rights of the human beings in different parts of the world.  

As regard to the nuclear energy, every body in the world sees that Iran who wants to have this technology and use it in peaceful way is under pressures of the western countries while Israel who does not pay attention to the international atomic energy agency (IWIA) at all is free and is developing its nuclear weapons.

What does all this mean? It means that only western liberal-democracy is right and all others philosophies and Ideas of the nations are wrong! It means that all people and nations all over the world must follow them and provide them their interests! Now the question is that: is there any thing but western fascism and dictatorship vis-à-vis other nations?

Achievements of the Islamic movement

Under the light of above arguments, we come to know full well that the western liberal-democracy and its heralds who are lords of gun and goons have not competency to save the human-beings’ society and solve its problems. Human-beings societies should go back to the divine teachings of the prophets and follow their words and commandments.

The holy Quran says:

إن الذین آمنوا و الذین هادوا و النصاری و الصابئین من آمن بالله و الیوم الآخر و عمل صالحاً فلهم أجرهم عند ربهم و لا خوف علیهم و لا هم یحزنون. ( البقرة : 62)

 “Indeed they who believe (Muslims), the Jews, the Christians, and the Sabaeans[4] -those of them who have faith in Allah and the Last Day and act righteously- they shall have their reward near their Lord, and they will have no fear, nor will they grieve.”[5]

The message of the Islamic revolution of Iran, which was founded by a pious and devotee person, namely Imam Khomeini, was the same advice. He encouraged the whole Muslim Ummah and the oppressed people of the world to understand themselves and relying on God, the Almighty, rise against the oppressors to achieve their rights.

Iranian nation and numerous Muslims and non-Muslims in different part of the world came to understand the facts and realities and they started their Islamic movements which has been a good model for Muslims and the oppressed nations.

Therefore one of the most important achievements of the Islamic revolution is the awareness and high understanding of the people and their full information about the world arrogance and oppressors policies.

The Islamic revolution of Iran proved that a nation is able to stand on their foot and live independent, though the lords of dollars and armaments are against it. It also proved that a nation is able to progress in technology, agriculture and other dimensions of the social life without any help of others. Moreover it showed clearly that a “divine-democracy”, combined of Islamic rules (Theocracy) and democracy can be the best philosophy for administration of social life of the mankind. For it guarantees both the moral dimension of the social life and its progress in science technology.       

It also proved that a nation is able to stand against the aggression of its enemy, though it was supported by the west and the east arrogant. It proved that it is able to remain after 8 years of an imposed war.

The establishment of a real Islamic government in Iran, which brought Islamic laws, regulations and norms in the daily life of the Iranian nation, proved that Islam, as a divine and progress religion, can save the mankind from spiritual and material problems. After many ups and downs in the history of the Iranian nation during the last 2-3 centuries they, under the light of Imam Khomeini’s brilliant teachings, faced with this fact that they once and for all should leave the self-proclaimed civilization of the western countries based on moral corruption, illegal force, impression and the policy of stave and carrot. It is quite clear that the lords of such a civilization have never thought on the interest of the week and oppressed nations, rather they are always seeking their interests, though it leads to the wars and killing of the nations. The I and II world war are the cast-iron evidence for their avarice and domination. And this is why they believe that they have overcome in the III cold-war against communism. Now some of the US theoricians are of the opinion that they are in the period of IV world war against Islam!  

The concept of so-called “globalization” is not but imposed domination of the illegal US rule and western liberal-democracy over the whole world.

It, however, should be born in mind that, according to the historical experiences and also divine procedure, the mastery of a self-appointed and oppressor ruler can never be continued for ever. Resistance of the nations and their iron-will has always been a hard and rigid block against the avarice of the arrogant.

The holy Quran says:

و کم أهلکنا قبلهم من قرن هم أشد منهم بطشاً فنقبوا في البلاد هل من محيص. ( سورة  ق: 36)

“How many generations We have destroyed before them, who were stronger in power than these, then they run for refuge in the lands! Could they find any place of escape (for them)?”.[6]  

Last but not the least; it is not out of place to mention frankly that nowadays many Christians have left their religious teachings or have misused them. They, especially Christian Zionists, carry out every crime and oppression and as Bush in an implicitly expression said they have started their crusade war under the name of “war against terrorism”. We should not neglect that some Muslims have also gone astray and have misused Islamic teachings. They want to fulfil their intention by terroristical action which is not advised in Islam at all.

Therefore, we should call the holy prophet Jesus Christ saying: O apostle of Allah! Today some of your followers have gone astray and they cause corruption and shed blood in the earth! May you pray for them to leave oppression, otherwise to be destroyed? And we should also call the holy prophet of Islam saying: O the last prophet of Allah! Some of your followers have misunderstood the teachings of Islam and have caused defame for your religion. May you ask the Almighty Allah to guide them to His right path?

اللهم انا نرغب اليك في دولة كريمة تعز بها الاسلام و اهله و تذل بها النفاق و اهله و تجعلنا فيها من الدعاة الي طاعتك و القادة الي سبيلك.

و آخر دعوانا ان الحمد لله رب العا لمين.

The above phrase recall in one’s mind the escape and itinerancy of the dictator, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, the last Shah of Iran, when he flew from one country to the other fearfully, during 15th jan.1979 to 26th July 1980. He stayed in each one a short while and because of not welcoming he could not feel himself at home. These countries were: Egypt, Morocco, Bahamas, Mexico, USA and Panama. Finally he flew back to Cairo wherein he died and buried.
